It's not very clear, but I guess I still see a lot of clear.
Could you check with a jewelers loupe or cheap USB microscope? You'll see it better ;)
Another top tip: Check buds from the main cola, the middle and the lower branches. You'll often see that the main cola is ready before the lower parts.

clear,milky/cloudy,amber.....is the colour of the lil balls ontop of the stalk.
from a distance all i can make out is the stalks do indeed have a ball at the top.clear, cloudy, amber they all just look like sparkly things.
ya need 30x-60x scope/loup to see the balls aontop of the trich stalks.
this was 99p and works a treatIMG_3424.JPG spend a bit more for an attachment to a fone.but as pics are round i dont take pics.an exception IMG_20200829_194605.jpg they all clear as its a young plant.
i check top/middle/bottom buds and guesstimate the clear, cloudy, amber average %.and then decide if or not to chop.
good luck n keep er lit

blown up original pic
afn pic delete.jpg

3 cirlces best of in focus.when ya first see a sparkly plant,it will be just stalks, over time the dome/bulb/blob on the top forms.
looks all clear from here, but ya need to get up close/closer than this.
a bit dated ....but a good watch

Great stuff guys cheers I have looked with a jewellers loupe and it isn't that clear to see the difference between clear and cloudy  must be a shitty loupe or else my eyes ain't working too good. some pics from yesterday 54 days flowering and most diaries I've read chop around 63-65 days and that would seem about right going off pictures. Most of hairs are brown on both plants and only the larger pheno seems to be producing some new white hairs.

hmm yep clear/cloudy aint easy.but ambers will be easy to see.most times amber trichs appear, but sometimes pink/purple/black.
are you in a rush to cut ? whats the aim max yield ? personal preference head/mixed/body stone ?
harvest is a window of a week maybe 2 weeks long.its not an exact day.
at 1 spectrum is me.recreational a sativa lover, wants an uppy head high, dont like a body stone, dont give a shit about yield...i cut the whole plant when i see 1 single amber trich.
max yield...will cut/harvest in stages top te bottom.
a medical person wanting cbd,n,s etc pain relief/sleep and whatnot may let the plant grow to day 88 leaves is brown n the plant looks practically dead before harvest.
theres kinda no right or wrong, once you in that window.
good luck n keep er lit

No great rush to chop id like to get a deecet yield but also a type high where I'm energetic but also a nice bit of body for relaxng after working out and being active. Id like to get 4-5oz a plant but not sure if both these will be that I'm guessing big one 4-5oz but smaller pheno around 2-3oz

I suppose best idea is to chop a week apart and have the best of both worlds

Get yourself a loupe or digital microscope, this will help you see the trichomes under magnification. That pic is tough to tell from to be honest. They make digital microscopes that plug right into your phone these days.
