Mephisto Genetics Moab’s 2019 very assorted Mephisto 4x4HPS/LED/Pro-Mix/3gal/Grow!

Hey guys. Due to the surprising success of my last grow, this will likely be my only grow until this time next year. I only grow enough for personal use, and was trying to acquire about an ounce per month per year. I already have eleven ounces with one more huge no name blue diesel to pull.. so I should have around fifteen ounces. This grow will increase my available consumption rate, which is cool.

Anyway, sorry.

4x4x8 grow tent, with a 600 watt HPS currently turned down to 400 watts, and 1000 and 1200 watts Chinese blurple fixtures hung vertically to the tent walls so I get more side light penetration. The HPS takes care of the tops so I like the LEDs on the side. Allegedly makes for tighter node growth and tighter buds. I dunno. HPS is playing overhead sun.

So I picked up a damn half bail of soil. Pro mix blue label. Thirty bucks. Used it in the past and was happy with it. Also got about 10 gallons of loose perlite I intend to use every bit of. Finally, I picked up 9 three gallon nursery pots. Spent $75 bucks at the garden store in fuckin January.... wife was PISSED.

Anyway, I have the supplies I need. Great. Nutes I found some sample of mega crop brand Nutes 300g for $3.45 or something. Don’t wanna and can’t really spend much on nutes... maybe not much to some, but I’ve put well over a grand into this hobby, for no financial profit. I’m just now enjoying the benefits of being able to have my own supply of smoke. It is nice. But I’m in a non legal state so it’s stressful and why I’m not doing this full time. A break soon sounds nice.

Anyway, so I already have one deez nugs up, one ghost toof, one sour stomper x fantasmo express, and a sams Crack that is hanging on for dear life....
Today, from glasses of water to peat cube things, I transferred one gold glue, one chemdogging, and one ghost toof.

This leaves me two slots open to germinate for the Mephisto Grow Battle. I honestly will probably use my own grown F2 Deez Nugs seeds for that. It’s s plant I’ve grown the most quantity of, and I really have grown attached to that strain. I have 50+ seeds of it, so it’s a staple in my smoking future for many years to come. I really hope the f2 sour stomper x fantasmo express throws off some seeds for me. I got a small handful off the one plant and only one has lived and I don’t think I have anymore stashed away.....

I’m saying f2 but probably talking out my ass. F1 illuminauto Mephisto Deez Nugs seeds, that the harvested buds had some seeds. So fresh batch of deez nugs seeds, whatever you wanna call them.

However while we’re here.. @bushmasterar15 are these seeds okay to use for the battle??

Your quality will start to diminish and your product won't be nearly as good in a year. For long term storage, make sure your dried well to not get mold. I understand your concerns with being in a no legal state...but honestly if you are not selling it, nobody will find out unless you open your mouth. It actually might be worse to have a big stash vs growing less product, but more frequently. Good luck, safety first.

Your quality will start to diminish and your product won't be nearly as good in a year. For long term storage, make sure your dried well to not get mold. I understand your concerns with being in a no legal state...but honestly if you are not selling it, nobody will find out unless you open your mouth. It actually might be worse to have a big stash vs growing less product, but more frequently. Good luck, safety first.

Ah man. Cannabis doesn’t do well over time? I used to grow mushrooms and once cracker dry and jarred, they’ll last 10,20,40 years. Not the same with trees huh... well. Very depressing news. So smoke my Grade A first you think? Aka my Mephisto?

It will cure over 3-6 months. After that the smell and Quality will diminish. As long as your humidity it not high, you should not get mold. Good luck!

Thats really cool, what was your method. I wasn't trying to start stuff or hound on ya, just don't wanna see ya start and have to drop.

I am also in a non-legal place, but I grow all the time. And I have friends family that are well (also me) established in the community, if ya don't sell (which I don't, I grow so I don't have to buy also, which I still do but hey what can ya do) and ya don't open your lips and tell you are good to go all year round. It can get nerve racking at times and you may have to kill, but do what ya gotta do to stay safe. I have had to stop a few times for a month or two, not of my doing but stuff to close to home, if ya get my drift.

Plenty of people smoke older stuff. You can find tons of info out there from vacuum sealing to storing in a freezer. With the onset of boveda packs the possibilities are endless.
