Mold or ok?

That is algae, not mold. It is perfectly normal in the right conditions. A little trick, every time you water take your hand and rough up the top of the soil. Your soil is indenting to the stem and you want to try and keep it level and porous. Also, when you water, water on the edges of the container not the center of the plant.
