Mutant? Some form of stunting?

holy shit i just phed my tap water and it was at 7.8 - WOT THE FECK!

ok so maybe this isnt a environment issue at all and just ph - surely 7.8 isnt right for drinking water? - its a digital meter aswell - a few weeks ago it was reading 6.9-7.1 over different days but sheeez 7.8

ive added sum lemon drops to my water supply and got it down to 6.5 and have done a flush with it but run off is still 7.1 - i take it thats the alkalinity build up in the soil?

Your seedlings look fine BUT ... if you try to leave them in those shallow pots for more than a couple days they will stunt ... I don't believe photos need as much depth for their tap root .

Did you look at the updated pics bro? They don't look fine

There's zinc and iron deficiency with the burnt crisped ends and the yellowing from inside out, they are not the best of pics though I'll give you that

Nytros can you transplant maybe a healthier one into a different grow medium, still convinced it was hot soil that started the issue, tap water tends to be slightly acidic due to cleaning products used in it... Are you growing the same strain as your dad as he may have a hardier strain??

:karma Cloud: hope they improve bro

Thanks allot guys for your help

The fact id been feeding my plants tap water with a pH of 7.8 for over a week or so i think i understand what's killed them. Phosphorus, Zinc and Iron Deficiency and toxicity for one of them but i forget its zinc or iron though.

Nar lucky for my dad he's been using bottled water lol and also for my dad he was growing just autos where as this is a photo so should be hardier if anything but he has switched last few days now to tap water and had yellow tips and what looked like n toxicity which was strange because he hasn't fed them anything and they've been in the same medium the whole time and about 15" tall now and only started showing signs of stress when he switched to tap water.

Maybe the water in our area is not good, but i definitely think its the 7.8 water bro - i didn't even know the pH of tap water changed i thought it would be the same for each area.
