New Grower my 1st led grow

well here we go. ive been keeping tropical fish for over 25 years, marine fish for more than 7. i converted my aquarium to leds last year, all cheap from china. my corals are doing very well and after having bought a few different colours and wattages i had a few spare bulbs so.....being sick to the back teeth paying 10 quid a gram for unflushed crap, im growing my own.
my first ladies on the go are a psycho fruit and 2 auto skunk no1. ive got them in 6.5l square pots(using soil. was going to use coir as i use it as a substrate for my snakes but i thought al stick to what i know). im using ionic nutes , very diluted.
psycho fruit is 3 weeks today, skunk is on day 19.
now to my leds. heres a list of the colours,chip sets and wattages im using.
1x36w(7x3w blues and 5x3w 14,000k)epistar
3x9w(3x3w 6500k)cree
3x10(5x2w blues and reds)epistar

im well chuffed so far. psycho fruit got its first preflowers yesterday so im doing somethin right:clap:
think ive covered everything so far, oh, and im growing in my old boiler cupboard in the bedroom. 2x3ft...ish.

hey dudes. quick question about water. i stay in the south west of scotland and our tap water is arguably the best anywhere. TDS straight from the tap is <30ppm with a ph of between 6 and 6.5 depending on the weather. im used to dealing with chlorine and flourine removal due to my fish keeping powers. i also have an R.O unit with a D.I. resin chamber for my marine water.
so my question is what should i use, dechlorinated tap water or R.O? all and any opinions welcome,cheers.

If you go with the r/o make sure to not use the di part of the filter. Also :drool: that water is from the tap? Sounds very good! Im sure with an aquarium you have a ph pen? Measure run off... If you decide to use the tap just leave it overnight it will dechlorinate itself... Sending a big :gthumbs: karma cloud your way!

cheers dude. I thot that about the d.i resin as you cant drink it if you use one. I've been using tap water so far and ive been doing just that, leaving it over nite. As i said mate, best tap water ever. I stay in a small valley, our municipal water comes from a local reservoir which is naturally filtered through the peat from all around. People from 50miles away find it hard to believe our water is that good. Cheers for the advice mate.

woke up this morn guys to find pale yellow tips to the new leaves on my psycho fruit! i fed her yesterday with a 50% nute solution. i guessing here but is it nute burn? is there such a thing or have i just got a case of newbi-itis? or is it the other way entrirely and its a deficiency? im sure this will have come up before for someone else but i couldnt find anything specific with a quick search. someone put my mind at rest please?
