Lighting My new VL-2 has landed.

An early Christmas present to myself arrived today. A Timber Grow Lights VL-2. 200 watts of Vero29 gen 7 3500k COBs. @RainDan was great to work with and answered all my questions timely and knowledgeably. The package only took 9 days to arrive, which is impressive as I ordered on Black Friday. The box was in perfect shape and had plenty of foam and bubble wrap to keep the light safe. I hung her up and plugged it in. Wow, so bright. She is now hanging 30" above some fresh seedlings. I'll periodically update here with their progress as well as the lights performance. It's a beautiful piece of equipment and look forward to it taking my girls to church.

A 2x4. I'll get a second VL-2 soon. Then I'll be cranking 50w/sqft with ridiculous ppfd. Lurk on!

Their new frame design is awesome, really clean and precise.

I was actually thinking about going that route earlier since they’re a local shop but they didn’t have any single COBs at the time.

Of course! Here's a snap of a couple at about 20 days. The lights 28" above with no reflectors @ 100% for heat purposes. The plants are incredibly thick and seem to be enjoying the COBs.
