My next level gardening tip.
I don’t drink much wine anymore, but there was a time when I chased terroir.
Terroir is how a particular region's climate, soils and aspect (terrain) affect the taste of wine. Some regions are said to have more terroir then others but perhaps they just do more with what they have .
Terroir in aspect to the ground isn’t just soil, it’s rock if rock exists and rock usually does. Rock has as much to do with the distinctiveness of a particular wine as much as soil and climate.
Cannabis has TERROIR
One of my favorite wineries in my favorite region is Vieux du Telegraph from Chateneuf du Pape, in the Rhône Valley of France. The domain for 6 generations has placed on-top of the roots of their grape vines the large stones that were smoothed and rounded by glaciers before the Rhône valley existed . The stones warm during the day and keep the ground warm at night, essential for good root formation. Watering the vines over the rocks is part of the flavor.
place rocks from the area you grow on top of the roots of the plant and water through the rocks . If you are close to a river river rocks are the great as is limestone. .
Always try implement the natural soil into any garden as much as possible to taste the terroir of your region in your plants
The roots are given darkness to grow up and attach to the organic matter u see the rocks .
