Rough Calculation Guide:

Here's some good info on ph.....
If your runoff pH is higher than your starting pH, use this equation to determine your soil pH:*
Soil pH = Runoff pH + Difference

If your runoff pH is lower than your starting pH, us this equation:
Soil pH = Runoff pH - Difference.

For example, say your the starting pH of your solution before it goes in is 6.5 and the pH of your runoff is 7.0. The difference is +0.5, so using the above equation:
Soil pH = 7.0 + 0.5*
Soil pH = 7.5

If your starting pH is 6.5 and your runoff is 6.0, your difference is -0.5 and using the above equation:
Soil pH = 6.0 - 0.5
Soil pH = 5.5

Love this quick little explanation and many times have looked for it to reference myself... Going to copy and email myself this ... So I can find it easier... Lol thanks Goauto for posting that up again!

thank very much goauto6... so my runoff is 6.5 when i mix I'm search for 6???

That sure is a small guide to see,

So if your PH is correct, and you have no other issues. Adding some Cal/Mag couldn't hurt at this point. Some one more versed in the deficiency area could tell you more I am sure.

See If we can drum up some help for you.

Peace

Cal/Mag is a product you can add to your water when you feed. It adds calcium and magnesium for your plants to use. They are two of the most vital TRACE elements. Your Potasium, Phosphorus, and Nitrogen are your main elements for growth and bloom. Higher Nitrogen for vegetative stage, and higher phosphorus for bloom stage. It is a little more complex than that. but it is a basic idea. Once you know your plants better, and do more research on how they grow, you will have less problems like you are having now. With that being said, there may be more or there may not be more to your sick plant, hopefully someone will come by and help, I have already put the word out.

Peace

Is it just the lower fan leafes? the new growth hows it doing?

Hi doobie :tiphat: - Those are some strange necrotic patches,....just on the lower leaves? Mid to upper ones okay? (better pics = better diagnosis bro',... need some even bright lighting for good diagn. pics)... Did this plant get exposed to a cool draft for a period of time? ...those discolored patches look a lot like physical-type damage, called mesophyll cell collapse, which happens when the leaf gets exposed to overly cool temps/drafts...the dark margin around the entire perimeter of the discolored patches (not spots), the shape and color (still some green on them, first pics), sure look like cold damage.. I can't tell in these pics if the patches look depressed, or collapsed compared to the surrounding tissue, which would be clincher for this,.... If not, I'll need to see other leaves in good lighting to analyze... Ca-Mg is a very common suspect, but the symptoms don't match up well with this... send us some new pics please!
