Leaves showing "the claw" symptoms. at first I thought I was over watering but its only on the new growth and they're not dropping, there actually showing the claw. So i ruled out nitrogen toxicity at first since I haven't fed them any nutes at all. Now in thinking the ffof might be "hot" New growth looks stringy, weak, the claw, not much development as should be

I increase circulation in the room I raised the light to take away some of the heat. I thought about lowering the light wattage to decrease some of the light in the room but I don't think that would help anything I wanted to hear from you guys first

also should know that I broke my pH meter and have to buy a new one tomorrow when I get paid but I have been using a lot of rain water lately but there has been some tap water that set out for 24 hours before I used it also
here's some pictures
and as usual I'm using a crappy camera phone so the pictures aren't doing anything any justice

HI Growbeast :) Form the pics, its looking like a pH issue, particularly the first two pics where the leaves look to be clamping a bit. What day are the plants on? And, did you check the pH of the FFOF out of the bag? I had a bag of FFOF do this to me, and it was pH. Hopefully, Muddy will check in on this, as he knows of an additive that might buffer/stabilize the pH-aluminum something or other...
As soon as you get a new pH meter, you'll want to do a pH test- check the water/nutes before watering, then check the runoff. Post, or pm the results. Also, depending on how far along they are, the FFOF may be getting depleted, so introducing nutes would be necessary. pH check, and verification, is first, though. Best to you! I'll keep an eye for other responses :)
:Sharing One:

did you ever know the starting ph of your soil? also bro if I may recommend pickin up an accurate 8 soil probe.. it will make growing so much funner and easier. fox farm ph starts out low usually. I had to add 1 1/2 tablespoons lime per gallon to get it to 6.8. hard to say what to do till you know ur soil ph. someone should be along to help.

Good morning , thank you both for responding. I didn't check my soil ph at all. The plants are on day 25 i believe. I don't have veg nuts so i went ahead and gave them slight flower nutes last night. But the problem has been going on a few days now.

Im buying ph test/up n down solution tomorrow morning ill let you guys know results.

The only thing I've ever know to cause the claw is too much nitrogen. If you used the FFOF straight from the bag and didn't mix it with something else, Happy Frog, Pro Mix, Sunshine, etc. it's very likely your getting too much N from the high amount of worm castings and guano that FFOF has. I wouldn't be too concerned about it. At 25 days old they would soon exhaust the nutrients contained in the FFOF. Just keep an eye on it and if it continues to get worse you may need to flush your pots to remove some of the excess N.

Thanks mudd, i was just reading about nitrogen toxcity so your spot on. Thanks for your tume n help
read some were on here a couple weeks ago i think from you actually, that ffof has been having ph issues straight out the bag, this was of course after i started my grow.

Update: flushed soil with PHed water, went for6 6.8, run off was about the same, now we wait
