I am going to do a side by side with lighting.

1) 18/6
2) 20/4
3) 24/0

What would be a good size light to do this with?
Thanks for any help.
P.S. I would like to stick with MH and HPS

wattage depends on the size of the grow space......so on average 50 watts per Square foot......

OK. I have 3 grow rooms 3' x 3' with adjustable tops up to 8' and there will only be one plant in each. So 3 250watt HPS or MH would be fine?
And Thanks.

Might go with a 600 watt digital dimable Hps/Mh..........per room you could get away with 400 watt D/D/hp/mh...... 3x3 is 9sq feet for 450 watts.

WTF ! Sorry for the bad language ! I am now confused ! and in no way am I questioning you Auto! Mad Respect!!! but maybe you should just look at my thread as I am sure I am doing a lot wrong . I have my room now at 6' x 7' with a 7.5' ceiling and am running a 1000 Watt Horticulture super Bloom bulb with a quantum 1000 watt digital adjustable ballast ... and the way I am figuring what you just said then I should be in a smaller room right? like 5 x 4 or did I miss something?

I'd say that your room could be 10,000 sq ft, as long as you're only putting one plant under the light, you'll do fine using 250W lights.

No need to be running 600s. Nothing wrong with conserving energy.
