Lighting Need help converting 2 old mars 300w panels

OK guys and girls been lurking the forum for a while and watching a bunch of YouTube videos I think I'm ready to convert my 2 old mars 300w panels(180w actual draw) .

So I opened one up yesterday and there's 5 drivers inside 4 50w 0.55-0.6A and 1 smaller one running all 3 fans. Every conversion I read on these they only have 2 drivers so I was hoping someone can help me out.

I'm thinking if going with the 1212s but if there is a better option that will suit these drivers better I'm open to suggestions.

So my question pretty much is what cobs would you match with these drivers and how many per driver ... should I go with the 36v or the 72v etc. Any help would be appreciated.

I did a MarsHydro 300(REAL old model 173w at the wall) hack a while back. I just swiped a couple of drivers and a some other hardware out of the case. It was the old 4 driver version. Only "problem" is the drivers are so low powered at only 600ma! I was running Cree cxb2590's and with 2 COB's it was only a little over 40w fixture. I ended up switching to a Meanwell HLG-185H 1400B driver for a solid 100w fixture. Knowing what I do now I would just leave the Mars fixture stock and build another fixture from scratch.

It would be good to know what drivers exactly you have to begin with.

Definitely need to see a picture of the drivers. If it just says watts 50 and .6 Amps that would most likely mean it's a 80v driver.
A*V=W
.6*80=48
It can be figured this way but would absolutely be better to see if there was any voltage numbers first. For price your best to go with citizen 1212 which is 36v

Again the A*V=W
.6*36=21.6 watts per cob.

If it is an 80v driver like most other mars are then you could run 2 cobs per driver and 8 cobs total for 130w. Cobs and holders are around 16$ each so $130 and some more for miscellaneous parts.

For an inexpensive upgrade it's worth it. No matter what you do it will be a huge upgrade.
