Need help diagnosing issue(s)

Haha I hope you guys can understand my frantic scrambling to get this sorted. So I just remembered I have some "rapid-lime." I think I've heard before that this is NOT the kind to use. Does anybody know if I could use it to up the pH of my nutes at least? (As opposed to trying to topdress with it?)

Heres some pics of the stuff. It's granular, but it dissolves in water really fast.

No, that will not raise the pH of your nutrients. It will help with your soil though if it is low. I would not mix it with your nutrient base though as different nutrients have the ability to knock your nutrients out of suspension. If you choose to use it I would top dress with it and water it in with the nutrient mix or plain water.

Generally it isn't good to mix nutrients with others unless it has been specifically designed to work together. We never know the chemical reaction that will take place.

Good advice, A4. I suppose I'll just get to a Home Depot and look for some legit lime to topdress with. What exactly am I looking for? And can I water it in today? (Though I've watered already, a few hours ago)

If you want to raise it quickly look for hydrated lime. But be very careful with that stuff! It can burn your roots if over done. Best to use a little less over the course of the next week than to do it all at once. Even then, it takes time to change the pH of soil properly.

You should be good watering twice in a day.

Alright I ran across the street and got some Garden Lime from Epsoma. Thanks for the help everyone!
