New Grower Need some help with MG DEF!!!!

hi this is my first grow, 5 amnesia haze plants in a grow tent 80 x 80 x 160cm 400w HPS light. Right im almost certain ive got MG DEF 1 plant which is quite bad its all twisted the leaves are fucked the stems really purple and i have started to see the veins going pruple (this plant is the smaller weaker one of the 5) i have 2 other plants that seem to have some purple comeing on the stems the plants maybe 8 inches tall with an inch of purple every other inch 1/2, these 2 dont seem that bad as only 2 lower leaves on each have started to twist (this could be normal, im expecting some leaves to fall off at some point?) maybe thats the start??

the other 2 plants are looking lovely and healthy.

ive been reading to buy epsom salts from boots which i sent my mum out to purchase. i have them now and i have a spray bottle.

how much epsom salts shall i use? in how much water? in hot or cold?

alot of places are saying 1-2 teaspoons per litre, some are saying per gallon. and some are saying 1-4 table spoons per gallon, or per gallon of soil? im getting confused can some one please tell me how much to use so i can try save my little babies!!!!!!!

What soil are you using
Are using tap water or RO{RO has to have cal mag}
Purple is not always deficiency sometimes it's the strain imho
Sounds like maybe ph
Got any pictures?

Yes, the purple can be genetic but it can also indicate a P deficiency, not mag. Before you do anything, best to post some pictures of your plants so we can take a look. We'll also need more information. What soil, what are you feeding and how often, and most importantly, the pH of your feeds and of your run off. If your pH is off, too high or too low, it could be locking out P and causing the deficiency. Picture should be close ups of the effected areas as well as the whole plant, taken in natural light so we can see the true colors.
