Hi guys , Whats wrong with my 16 day old seedling , i propogated her in a root riot cube in a 4" net pot ( in a home made propogation system ) and top fed her until her tap root was sticking out 1" out of bottom of net pot then transfered into dwc ( seedlings not stressed as i keep her in the same netpot and just transfer it from propogation dome into dwc ) , it has been under 60w cfl in the dwc now for 1 1/2 weeks and yellowing , i have the ppm at 130 using canna start and rhizotonic , ph is 5.8 and temp is 19 . My 1st plant was the exact same and grew into a lovely lady but i know im doing something wrong as u can see by the pic of her , where it all seems to slow down and go wrong is when i move it into the dwc , the root seems to stop growing as much as when it was in the propogater and the leaves yellow and growth is defo stunned .

might be a bit too cold mate, needs to be 75 - 86 F,
19c (66.2 F) seems a bit too cold. I had same problem in soil tho, heated my area up to 81. no yellowing anymore.

Shes starving hungry bud ... add 400 PPM to your background PPM with full rhizo & made up with canna start .Set the PH to 5.5-5.6 & add more light if you can :smokebuds:
Raise your temps up like Alpha said.A plant will not take up nutrients at that temp and basically shuts down its growing cycle.
cheers man , last seedling i was at 300 ppm and it burnt it , it was il diavolo which is known for low tolerance to nutes , this one is bella afrodita ( il diavolo mixed with auto ak ) so didnt wanna go high with ppm , could u tell me if the leaves yellowing and crisping is too much or not enough nutes.
should i also stick her under the 600w hps dual spectrum light now ?

Seedling in DWC just doesnt want to grow
Hi guys need as much help and advice as possible , 2nd grow ( dwc , indoor tent , 600w hps dual spectrum , canna aqua nutes ) . The problem is when i when i put the root riot cube from propogator into dwc system , i propogate using a net pot with clay pebbles surrounding the cube in a humudity dome with 2 30w cfl lights( the bottom of net pot is covered with black polythene to keep light away ) i top feed until the taproot is over 1" out of bottom of netpot . Up until now the seedling is in perfect condition , once in the dwc system for a few days the seedling starts to look unhealthy , i add canna rhizotonic and canna start with ppm at 150 , temp is now at 22 c , ph 5.8 and rez temp is 21 . There is hardly any growth during the next few weeks and the leaves droop and yellow , heres a few pics . Im really pissed of at this cos my 1st plant was the same when seedling but turned out a beauty but i just cant get the seedling stage correct . Seedling is delicious seed bella afroditi and the 1st grow ( just about to get chopped ) is il diavolo

Hi again Ricky :styles rasta: this thread looks very similar to the other one you started about the same issue bud .There have been some answers posted in the 1st thread by some others & myself with some good info so not sure why you started another thread mate ?
,the advice was to up the temps which I see you have done a bit "wg's Cool"
The other obvious thing is the PPM's mate .... like I said in the other thread its way to low .I would start babys off with 350PPM minimum & thats with aqua vegga ...if your using start then you should be able to go higher than that ?. I recommend you make a fresh res with half to full strength rhizotonic & make the PPM upto 400 ish ...give or take 50 maybe ? The other thing could be a nute lock out if your PH was out of whack for to long ?... for seedlings in DWC the PH is best at 5.5.-5.7 & then set to 5.8 a bit later in the grow .... thats all I can suggest from what I can see bud ... the poor girl was starved of nutes & has been eating herself ever since ,thats my 2c again lol ..hope it helps :smokebuds: Maybe someone else will look in & give an opinion soon but in the meantime can you stick to this thread & not start any more on the same issue please dude
