My 3x3 is getting cramped. I’ve got 3 5 gallon buckets in there and when the plants mature it’s going to be a nightmare testing pH and topping off, etc. I’ll have to pull one out just to access the others.

So I’m thinking about a 4x4 or even a 5x5. I’ve been doing research on Mylar vs. a white interior and it looks like the white interior is the way to go.

I’ve only been able to find 2 options. Option 1 is getting a Bud Box ... a really nice tent but I’ll be parting with $400. Option 2 is this one on Amazon: Amazon product ASIN B075PFPZ15What I don’t want is the cheap white pvc lining like when the white interiors first came out.

Does anyone know of another option? I am having a heck of a time finding anything else out there. Plus, I am in the US.

Thanks.

OK, I found what I was looking for. I shied away from the white exterior, no-name tent when I found this HomeBox Evolution Q120 with decent shipping from Germany. It’ll probably take forever but it’s mine all mine LOL

@davisgirl I’m gonna wait on ordering my 3d vivosun until you get your new tent so I can pick your brain on the pros and cons. I definitely like the white liner. I think I can move a wall in about a half day. The boss is a smoker too, so she won’t put up much of a fuss lol. I only need 10 more inches of space to make the 3 tents line up. I can mount a panel on the wall behind them and all the cords, vents, etc will be hidden with easy access. I like it neat and orderly.

Awesome! Check out the Amazon tent as well. It has a few nice features. The guy is in Colorado and he imports them.

I was a little put off on the tan exterior - black stands the test of time, but he said he has had his set up for 2 years and it’s not dirty.

Cool, will do that. Thanks for the info. I only got 2 autocobs for reference, but I think 4 of them will still light a 4x4 nicely. I still think I’m gonna keep 1 triple chip LED in each tent for the extra red, blue,ir, and uv. They are only $100, have built in fans to keep air moving, and if they add 1 extra oz to each crop they paid for themselves in 1 run. I bought these yehsence 1000w equivalent triple chip burple chinese LEDs from amazon before I did lightning research, and they really are worth the $100 for supplemental lightning. I was actually surprised how well they worked. I have 5 HID setups(4 1000w and 1 400w) I may never use again outside of the greenhouse. The autocobs are self contained with no ballast. I think the reflectors are worthless though. If you didn’t order em you saved $11. Plus I like that you can order the autocobs a cpl at a time on a budget. Don’t forget to use the Afn5 code for the discount.

Yes, I got 4 for the 4x4. No reflectors ~ I figured I could always get them later.

Found this link on YouTube talking about the Homebox:

@davisgirl - How is the new tent working out? I was thinking of getting the Q100 to replace my 3x3 and wanted to see what your opinion on yours was. Thanks!
I LOVE this tent! The only drawbacks were:
  1. Open at the bottom. No floor. The tray is the floor. This turned out to be no issue for me, but others wouldn’t be much impressed.
  2. Not big enough. Already replaced with a bigger tent.
In retrospect I should have gone with the one from Amazon since it was less than half the price and in the US.

Here’s what the tent looked like before I recently emptied it:

I grow in soil, so the no floor thing wouldn’t really be an issue. I also like the extra room it would provide over the 3x3. I run four pots at a time so it gets a little cramped in there. Thanks for the update.
