I’m new to AFN and also to growing. I plan to start with some autos and maybe try some photo later on after I feel comfortable. I see such great results with autos on this site that I can’t sit back and watch anymore. J

I plan on running a 4’ x 4’ tent with a top led Mars 2 1200w led light along with an appropriate carbon filter and exhaust fan. There must be absolutely no odor and the local shop assures me that the setup he sells (fan/filter) will do the job. I hope he’s right, if anyone has information that can help in this area it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I plan to use AFN’s grow @ Lowe’s guide for my first attempt.

What I am unsure of is what seeds I should start with as a beginner. I’m looking for something that will produce a good stone and is hearty enough to withstand a first timer. Any suggestions?

Thanks

K

Having grown several autos myself over this past year and half I would recommend any of the HighRise autos done in 65days tops and all can take a pretty good beating.... Of course there's AFN's bread dragons by the dragon masters team that I can SWEAR CAN TAKE almost anything you do to them and still come out roaring like champs! Fantastic bag appeal as well... Sweet Seeds gear has all been good and also they were all hearty for a new grower:.. Really get a decent ph meter read and plan your grow and read up on grow journals of strains that interest you and with that leg work and AFN's help you'll be smoking some sweet home grown soon yourself brother!

Thanks a lot for the advice and pointing me in the right direction. I just realized HighRise is a site sponsor with a good variety. I think I will follow your suggestion and try some of them out.

I also just noticed your thread in their section.....I will be reading that end to end along with some others to get a good feel before starting my plan.

Thanks again brother, can't wait to be self sufficient. :Sharing One:

Northern Lights,Lowryder are easy to grow.

Thanks for the reply.....always love me some good NL. Are all seed banks NL seeds similar?
