Hi folks. Experienced photoperiod/total auto newbie here. Please help!! My very first four auto gelatos are very stunted, droopy, and rather sickly looking. Apart from using cheap and nasty crappy Aldi all-purpose pre-nuted compost, and prob overwatering often - what do you think has gone wrong? I will be using a mix of Plant Magic Soil Supreme, coco coir and perlite for my next grow, but I'm not sure of the mix ratios. Also, would you recommend transplanting now into the new mix in an attempt to recover the grow? We are on day 31. Temps are 16° to 21°. Running a Mars Hydro TS000 at about 300mm above the plants, with an RKV100 eztractor and filter, set on min revs at night, and about 33% power in the day. Here are my bass cab stealth grow girls -

Looks like you already figured out that they are overwatered, i would suggest you stop watering for a while and let roots build up. I would also try to increase temperatures to 24-27°C 📈🙌
Thanks for your reply. I forgot to mention that I also suspect that I wasn't exchanging enough air! It's a wonder they've grown at all...

Nah you should be good, if the temp and/or humidity doesnt get too high i dont even turn the extraction fan on with small plants in veg. Airflow is more important imho
The humidity is through the roof! If I didn't know better though, I'd say that they were beginning to perk up a little since I increased the extraction 🙂

If we were best buddies I’d tell you to throw those away considering you’re right at average age to start pre flower stretch and put your energy into growing killer smoke. But since we’re buddies I’d give you a few ounces of some fire so you don’t feel too bad about time missed 🤣🤣🤣 I’d also suggest a pre mixed 70/30 coco/perlite no soil, I use 100% canna coco but I use autopots bcuz I’m lazy. Good luck either way, defo not trying to sound like a know it all dick lol I’m rooting for you

To illustrate what I mean about the veg progress (not size) and being ready for stretch, in this pic these 4 plants are 31 days old too. The front two are small because the left self topped after 3 nodes and dog yanked the right one out of pot early on but still had a solid veg producing lots of growth. And again what I’m talking about is progress missed out on in the limited veg time not the size of a plant. Again just my opinion for a new auto grower, I’m by FAR some kind of expert. Just a guy who’s too lazy to put 100% effort in to 30% of a plant lol

Thank you all for your advice and comments. As far as temps and humidity are concerned, my grow is outdoors in a cab in my shed, so within reason I'm at the mercy of the weather! I have rudimentary heating in there but only really enough to get them up to 18°C or so. I have decided against transplanting for fear of stressing them even more. I'm going to let the pots dry out and keep the extraction up. Previously I had virtually no extraction at all! Will keep you all updated 🙂🙂

How much humidity are we speaking? For me it seems like eating up the room and decreasing humidity would help a lot in this case.

Edit: heating. Please dont eat the room.
93% humidty! Don't worry, I won't eat the room 🤣
