Not sure on your light height but depending on your height above canopy you can possibly raise the light up to get her to stretch.Hi everyone. Long time lurker. First time poster. Working on a tangerine dream auto. Leaves are waxy and dark green. It’s growing partners has slight nute burn. These buns have been in the oven for about 26 days.
I’m concerned about the waxy looking plant. It’s sister has grown taller. Little waxy has many more leaves but is growing flat. I’m concerned the leaves under the canopy won’t receive light.
I’ve treated both plants exactly the same. Any advice in getting her to stretch? Or am I worried about nothing.
The burn looks more like heat damage to me than nute burn. As for the rest of the plants they look normal to me. Different phenos is very common when growing from seeds.Hi everyone. Thanks for the responses. Much appreciated.
I have pics of these girls in “natural” light (bathroom). Both are Tangie seeds from growers choice. The taller one shows beginning signs of nute burn. I got a little trigger happy. It has pretty much stopped burning at this point. The other shorter plant is the one that’s a big ball of leaves. I’m sure it’s all normal, it’s just the different phenotypes are freaking me out since it’s grow [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG].
To answer a few questions. I’m running a 600w led. It was about 16 inches above canopy. I raised it a little higher today and dimmed the light so it’s 900 par at canopy.
Using CNs17 veg nutes ontop of a 5-5-5 green reign soil mix into vermisoil (organic)I’m thinking I didn’t mix the soil well enough and my tall girl might have hit a hot spot.
Anyways, great forum. Great people. Thank you all for the insight. I don’t think I’m in danger here, just want to give these girls a good home before I smoke the shit out of them.
Tall girl is the taller plant with nute burn.
My little butterball is the shorter dark green one. It’s growing dense! Butterball is pics 1-3
I would get the accurate 8 it's a soil pH meter for checking in pot pH.Thanks everyone! @shumway ive been ph’ing between 6.5 and 6.8. Do you think it’s worth purchasing a Ppm Meter and testing?
I’m going to dial the lights down a bit and move them up.
Thanks again everyone. So much fun. Great new hobby.
