Hey so I am in week 3 (20/4) now and I am growing Moby Dick Auto in coco/perl 75/25 and my ladies have been showing trouble all along. I have been watering at 5.8-6.0 pH 0.6 EC (GO Box; started at 0.6 ec ~ week 2) with 10-20% runoff and I have started feeding every other watering because I think I may be having lockout issues? Any help would be great! The first ladies looks like a P deficiency with purple stems and dark green leaves/tips curling under and I'm not sure, possible Mg def in the other one? I'm thinking lockout because they have such different signs. The one thing they share is that some of the leaf tips are yellow (and have been all along) in the veins.

Here are the ladies, ANY and ALL help will be greatly appreciated. Light is LED at ~22" away.

They really don't look that bad to me.I take it they are hydro witch I dont have experiance with so I'll let somebody else handle this that knows hydro.

Eveing bro im not sure what feed you use but im using hydro feed in coco,im using ferro bro,it seem you girl need veg feed asap bro,if you using hydro i be feed Ec1.4 and 5.5ph you should get a run off at 5.8 then, girls well pick up:peace: kudo

Thanks for the replies! Just an update, pics later, I checked this morning and the tips are classic nute burn ash. I watered w/ EC@

0.7 and pH @ 5.6 with extra cal/mag after reading about the importance of cal/mag. I checked runoff it was had an EC of 0.74 which is right at the top end for run off (it should be less than) so obviously I am overfeeding, or now that I read about coco more, perhaps I didn't activate it properly before planting.

I'll work on the contrast on my camera so they don't look so evenly colored (because they really aren't!). I guess I am going to full flush. Any recommendations on flushing coco will be greatly appreciated! Pics later tonight with some shots of the burn!
:peace: Budz!

3X the volume of the pots flushed with water and check the final runoff and you should be good to go IMO

Here is a shot of the burn and a better contrasted shot of the discoloration! I flushed with tap (EC 0.25 here) and the runoff was had an EC of 0.6 for the first 4L (6L Airpots) so yeah...

That discoloration, I've had that before and it's the start of CalMag deficiency.. in my experience, I stop that progression with introducing or upping my CalMag additive. Just my :2cents:

First time using coco and I'll tell you what... Don't make the mistake I did and read "Runoff pH isn't an accurate read on the pH of the media when using coco," and then think, "Yes I don't have to measure runoff! period..." You have to measure the EC of the runoff :joint: if there were only a face slapping smiley! it is All about the EC in vs EC out when determining how much to feed. If the EC Out is greater than reduce feed, if it is much lower then increase feed, and apparently if the EC Out is just a bit lower than EC in it means that the ladies are soaking up the max. Big ups for all the sage advice!

Goodie knows his/her stuff! CalMag/ Epsom should do the trick.
