Hiya,

What I want to know is, if my plants are taking up nutrients, does that mean they are definitely developing?

Flowering seems kinda slow, but I'm probably just being impatient.

Yesterday ec was 1.2 and today it is 0.8, so they are eating for sure. It's just hard to see the development from day to day.

Thanks

I don't have an answer for you, sorry. What I do though is to photograph them regularly, especially before and after feelings. That way I can see them growing. It's really cool when you put them all together and view them sequentially.

Hi Wwwillie,

It's funny that you say that, as I was going through photos of the grow from the beginning and thinking "did they really grow that much in 1 week/2weeks? That was in veg though and it's harder to tell now they are flowering. I have pics from 2 days ago and perhaps they are a little bit more developed.

I'll take some more when the light comes back on and then again in a couple of days. Hopefully I'll be surprised.

If they are eating, all is well. All that food goes somewhere even if you don't see it, I promise! When you fawn over them on a daily basis it's easy to miss the growth. Time moves much slower in the plant world. Once the plants hit their stride you will notice noticably fatter buds every 48 hours. Kind of similar to the wicked growth spurt right after they show sex, but before flower.

Cheers Skatterbrayne, that's what I thought. They are still just little yellow & white flowers at the moment, and I'm not known for patience.
I'll get over this worrying thing by my next grow, probably. Maybe. Perhaps not, lol.

No! you wont! lolololzzzz YOUR AS BAD AS ME! roflmao "for reals dude" we have like no patience im checking on them 3 times a day every 4-5 hours or so ,it seems to cheer me up.it's also dead of winter here so seeing that summer time glow and smells cheer me up too but im pacificly looking for development and I notice most of the development if any for that 24 hour period right after the dark cycle of 6 hours.ive been growing for 2 years or so but just recently found out about auto's

Haha, yeah I've been hurrying them along since day 1. And since I haven't smoked in over 3 months, I just like to poke my head in to get a hit of that lovely stink.
Autos are great though. Next time I'm gonna try to document when all the new growth happens so I have a good idea what to expect the next time. It's all been a bit of a blur this time.

Come on girls, satisfy my impatience :)

I still spend alot of extra time with the girls. They will teach you patience, that's for sure! The first grow there is alot of fear / curiosity and its natural to urge the process along. I assure you that they dont care one way or the other though haha. The more you urge them to grow, the less you notice their growth it seems like. Either that, or they are reading our minds and doing it to spite us :roflcry:aull up a bucket to sit on, fire up a joint, and watch the grass grow.:smokeit:
