...I do roughly ph my water with drops, use decent soil, and try to keep my environment close to what folks say it should be, etc.

Sea 90 is an agriculture soil amendment. And yes it will kill your plants. If you over do it. With the correct ratio plants and microbes thrive.You did what!!??? Please tell me you are German and this is a language thing...Salt water will KILL your plants!!
