62412 004.jpg62412 003.jpgMy Northern Lights Blue Plants were doing fine. They Are a week old and under a 1000 w Light. The thing is when i woke up this morning one of them started to peel over like its to top heavy. Is there anything i can do to build stem strenght. They are under a fan so they sway lightly. I thought that was enough. The light is about 2.5 feet away. I cant get much closer because of the heat. THIS is my first grow and i want them to do fine. Please Help someone. Oh yeah, I put a stake to help support.

a 1000w should be more than close enough at 2.5 ft
lightly tie the seedling ,leaving a gap not tight to the stick, use wool
postion fan above the seedlings

and give them time

I would not tie a stick to that seedling, you want the stem to strengthen up on it's own....That stick is only going to make it dependent. And it is doing that because it is stretching for light + the fan blowing(Which will help to eventually make the stem strong). I have this happen all the time with seedlings I put far away from the light, but they fix themselves up from my experience, and usualy stop stretching when moved closer to the light.

Dont Worry! :booya:

sorry rello but at 7500 lumens its not stretching for light thats enough for flower never mind seedlings or veg
and i dont meant tie it tight to it, like i said just enough to keep it up for the next 7 days

Or you could add more soil to support her? Iv done it many times with great success :toke:

Yup it shouldnt b stretching you are right :toke: But I will say it looks like my seedlings I stick in the back corner of my tent that are deprived from light :dance2: The ones under light at optimal distance do not stretch at all... they will be that height and on its 3rd-4th set of leaves. Either way my point is it is nothing to be worried about.

if anything it could be heat stress from the light or a hot compost mix. even is it was in the corner of the tent it should be getting the 3000+ it needs for veg

it should look better in another week as it pulls through

does not help that your using a blue strain that can be funny with feeds and maybe a unproven seed bank for auto's

id go easy as in the first 7 days damping off could be an issue
