Indoor Ocean Forest RunOff at 5.0?? Doesn't seem legit... Please Help!

Forgot to add....

The strains are Sensi Seeds Northern Lights Auto and Sensi Seeds Skunk #1 Auto, the Skunk #1 Auto still has those trademark huge fan leaves that stick out by themselves.
Hopefully, everything will be fine. I will check on them again first thing in the morning and report back my findings.

Fox Farms has had quality control issues for the past year or more. The pH right out of the bag has varied a lot. We've had some members report it as low as 4.5.

I've been doing a lot of experimenting over the last year using aluminum sulfate to lower the starting pH of Pro Mix, which is usually right around 7. On several grows I used too much and it pushed my pH down to around 5. What I've learned is that it doesn't seem to effect veg growth, but it plays hell once they go into bloom. Early loss of fan leaves, stunted bud growth and the resulting lower yields. Did you add any dolomite lime to your soil mix?

I have only added dolomite to one of the girls, and that was a week and a half ago. After reading what you just posted i went out and top dressed all of them with dolomite lime, but i know it takes time to work. I am already seeing pistils on a few of the girls, so flower time is fast approaching. What do I need to do to quickly correct this problem before I start seeing issues? I would like to take care of it asap and if I need to buy anything let me know and I will go out and buy it right now. I just want to be proactive and try to take care of this now.

About week 3 on my NL's the ffof gave me a runoff ph of 5.2 when I watered in at 6.8.

Hydrated lime is faster acting but also potentially damaging to the plants if too much is used. Had you not already added the dolomite, that would have been my suggestion. You should be fine with the dolomite, it's just going to take a little longer to become effective.

So you think I should just wait it out for a while with the top dressed dolomite and see what happens? Next watering should I crush up the dolomite and try to get some to dissolve and water with that? I just don't want an issue to pop up in flowering.
