Sweet Seeds Ordered Red Poison and Cream Mandarine - would you grow together?

I have 2 autopots and a res. This grow I have to choose two beans to grow together off the one res. Would it be better to stick to growing just one type? Or would I mix and grow one of each? Keeping in mind the nute schedule will have to be the same for grow and flower. And HPS lighting would have to be the same height, although I have flexibility in light height with the single autocob lights I use too.

You can grow them together. It's not ideal and would be better to do one strain at a time, but it's not that difficult to grow them together. Maybe Cream Mandarine Auto will need a bit more feeding and they usually also grow a bit taller, but if any of the plants stretch too much you can always do some LST.

Let's see if any other member of the forum grew them together and tells us what happened, or if someone has experience with both and shares an opinion.

Personally I would grow them together, but I have plenty of space, is the cream mandarine the auto, or one of the other two cream mandarine strains available from sweet seeds? If there both autos there nutrient requirements will be similar

Its the auto strain. And I do have lots of space at least so far.

Seeds shipped today from True North and should get them Friday and I'll be popping two of them right away. And I think I'll do both.

Curious, what do you say do both? Just to have the variety? That's kind of what I'm thinking.

I say both cause they are both fast flowering autoflowers and will veg and bloom on relatively the same schedule as each other, they are similar in structure, and will both need the same nutes at the same time. Plus having variety is fun. If ,for example, you had a red poison and a long vegging super auto from a different breeder, I would have said do them separately since their life cycle and nutrient requirements are different. Doesn't mean it's not possible, but having more than one reservoir would make it easier. But again one reservoir is perfect for what you are doing. Good luck.

It's always the guess, even with the same strain you can have two phenos which are totally different (some take more nutes, some take more photons, some take more Ca/Mg etc.).
