I like looking thru the solo cup challenges & see all the cool plants grown in tiny cups.
Thinking of giving it a try.
A lot of guys do hydro, and the soil guys seem to use bottle nutes.
Can you do soil w/dry amendments in a solo cup? How often would you have to top dress? Couldn't imagine getting more that a tablespoon or two on top at a time.
I think you'd have to water it a couple times a day, would the little bit of top dressing you could get on top be enough to feed and keep the plant not only alive, but thriving?
Any suggestions on how to make it work?

I've been thinking on trying this along with some teas I think would work as for multiple watering I think sitting it in water or a tea for a few hrs a day would work lmk if you do this as I'm interested I've run solos before but was using coco @ the time and bottled nutes.

I would recommend against it personally.Dont feel great atm so I wont go heavily into it but essentially you would be riding a knifes edge of an incredibly finicky mix of crush amendments(or pre and custom made ahead of time which is best) composts and a constant session of half-gallon sized brews(Teas) running for 2 days a pop dipping them in a cpl three times a day.buffer capacity will be essentially no existent..Issues man.Im sure it can be doe o doubt.but to compete with salt bangers n such is a lot of work in them smaller containers like that.thats why ya dont see em.:pass::toke:

Now thats not to say they are not around.Just for a first go is gonna tough.may wanna try a cpl to see how it is really. But its not gonna be easy to maintain well. :toke:
