Hi all,

I plan on growing about 20 plants outdoors in New England at 42N. I've been doing research for about 2 months on what seeds to buy and I would like to run my final list by you guys. I'm 90% sure I will be starting the plants indoors at for about 2-4 weeks under a 600 watt mh light with CFLs to supplement. I will put them outside during the day. After the 2-4 weeks I will move them to a guerrilla grow spot. Im starting the seeds in 5 gallon grow bags. My list so far is as follows

-10 pack of Iranian Autoflower
-6 pack of Chaze
-3 pack of Kush van Stitch
-3 pack of Auto Assassin

I'm aiming for about 2 lbs.

I'm wondering if people had any suggestions to add to the list or remove from the list. Also, Im pretty lost on what nutrients to feed them.

Any input is greatly appreciated! And I will be doing a detailed grow journal through the process.
Thanks!

Edit: I have to stick with autos because I only have about 110 days to grow due to college.
Also due to college, I won't have time to cook soil.

I am in Maine and a strain that always does well is Afghani crosses and Afghani auto strains. Northern Lights Blue auto, Church, Skunk #1 and Blue Dream have always been great photo strains outdoors here too. I got a bunch of Himalayan Blue Diesel to try outdoors this year and more Northern Lights Blue. As for nutrients I use GH Flora series outdoors or my own mix of amendments in the soil.

Thanks for the response, I truly appreciate it! Any specific breeders for the afgani autos?

Sounds like a nice plan.

When do you plan to harvest, august/sept or before?
I think you should be extra careful with transplanting, it's the trickiest part of the process.

I would suggest dropping the Iranian and going with something else. The Iranian is overpriced and is not a true auto flowering plant but an early flowering photo strain that won't finish until mid August. The breeder is a know scammer and has been banned from AFN.

Being in New England you will probably be subject to rains that may prevent you from feeding your plants on any kind of regular schedule. I would suggest you amend your soil mix with some worm castings, composted manure or guano to feed the plants when you aren't able to.

Balarama, thank you for your response! I have seen one of your grows and they have inspired me! I plan to harvest the auto assassin in early July and the rest by August 17th. I will be planting around May 12th. I plan to use ripen if they plants don't look ready by that date. Also, that's why I am mostly likely starting them in their original containers even though it causes problems for indoor lighting. Everything I read suggests I what to avoid transplant shock in autos especially if I'm looking for them to finish on time.

Hey Muddy! I truly appreciate the response. Do you have any info on why he was banned? I have heard many varying opinions on him but many medical communities are in love with his products. And this year the IAF is $10 a seed. Do you have a suggestion to replace it? Also I have spoken with the company and emailed him, and they have been extremely helpful. This is the reason I chose his seeds along with Stitch because I think getting info straight from the breeder is invaluable. I would still love to hear you elaborate because clearly you have more experience than me and I respect your opinion.

My buddy does the British Columbia Afghani Dream Auto its quick and mosty indica

He isn't called Dr. Greenscum for no reason. Let me see if I can't get b0b in here. He knows the story much better than I do.

i agree with muddy , drop the Iranian Autoflower , as it is not an auto and is leafy crap

as for the breeder Dr.greedscum , he has been caught at many of the bigger canna sites with multiple accounts including his own trying to pretend his grows/plants are far better then they are etc etc , he has gone around the internet bashing some of those who caught him and called him out about it (which was the right thing for them to do)

the medical sites you see him on are being supported by him , he pays the bill so they wont ban him , plus those sites are based on/in a country he isnt even from , and 8 out of 10 people who are in love with his product are in fact he himself posting as other people , the other 2 out of 10 he bribes with free seeds

he is a snake who would sell his mother hermie prone seeds just to make a buck

you never see a finished grow report of any decent plants/strains because they just dont exist , at one time there were a few , until the real person/people who grew the plants (that werent even the same strain he was pretending they were) found out and called him out for stealing their pics

i could go on , but do i need to ?

peace
