So I've been away for awhile. Love how much traffic the forum is getting. Also great to see how far auto strains have come. Almost every seed bank you see online will have a Autoflower section. Here in CA at the center of MMJ Industry, you rarely hear about AFs from people on "the streets" but online, that is definitely not the case.
Firstly, Where is the Eshop??? When is automaticseed.com gonna be up and running???? Haha cant wait to order more from you guys. Really enjoying the Purple Ak47. Bred the beans and currently have a crop of about 75 PAK under 3k watts with full co2 in 3 gal pots. Will post pics soon.
LONG TERM GOAL FINALLY ACHIEVED!!!
When I first decided I was gonna grow, I did what everyone did. calculate the maximum yields I could get out of my grow op. And at that time something that always caught my attention was the saying of "GRAM PER WATT." As I did research I saw a few grows journals with Photo strains were people achieved this goal. Some of them used light rails which to me was not an option just because I didn't like the idea of the track somehow malfunctioning while I was away.
So my goal was to buy a 10 pack of seeds, breed them for more beans, and do a 50 plants grow under 2x1000w hps.
Finally after almost 4 years of trail and error, I yielded about 66oz off of 2000w HPS with full 1500 of co2 on a 20/4 schedule.
YES I KNOW IT ISNT 2000 GRAMS BUT I HEAR BALLAST DONT USUALLY RUN AT THE FULL 1000W AND THE ONES I USE ARE ALL NON DIGITAL SO I THINK THIS IS THE CLOSEST IM GONNA COME
Note: Co2 only ran after plants were sexed and transplanted into 3 gal pots from their small jiffy starter pots. What I did when i decided to harvest was to top all the main colas first while trimming. I had done this before and I knew it would take me a few days to trim all the main colas, thus letting the bottom Nugs fill out.
**I BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS TO MAXIMIZE YIELD, PLUS EQUAL RIPENESS.**
NOTE: I WAS GROWING MY OWN VERSION OF THE EASYRYDER. I HAD CROSSED MY OWN F2 LOWRYDER #2 SEEDS WITH AN AUTO AK47 OF MY CHOICE. THE CROSS DELIVERED REALLY NICE BRANCHING PHENOTYPES WHICH WAS REALLY IMPORTANT.
