New Grower pics of my royal ak and roadrunner

they were planted on the same day 24 days ago,the roadrunner is very small 20cm it was alot smaller 3-4 days ago 6cm the ak just seems to be growing up it grew 8cm from 1130 last night they got a little taste of nutriants for the first time the day before yesterday,is there somthing i be can do with them, i have them in the loft under a 250watt hps not in a room just in the open loft,its the only place i can put them for now tent should be here soon,

the ak is the three on the right,roadrunner on the left,,,,,the roadrunner started life growing down not kidding when it didnt show after bout 5 days i moved the soil on top carfully the root was goin down the sprout had started groing up bout 1and half cm then done a u-turn and grew down bout an inch the round leaves were open but pure white so i turned it and squeezd the soil round the base lightly maybe thats why its growing funny

whats are you growing in soil:smokebuds:they have only had nutes once
I think you will be fine until the tent comes whats the temps range where they are?

the temp is up and down but when im up there smokin (the only part of the house i can get away with it) im warm in a t-shirt i have no equipment this was a compleat spur of the moment thing i have 2 reg females from the bottom of a bag and started them,then i was told about autos,so i went and got myself some "souveniers" been hooked since tent kit orderd pots bought seeds bought the tent kit is all i need now,sorry yes soil just potting compost

They look real good doc, if the temps are up I cannot tell it from the pics. If you see some curling around the serrated edges of the leaves then you will know the temps are getting a little too high. They may also curl inward like a canoe, that would be a sign as well. If you don't have it already, you can buy a cheap fan and put a good gentle breeze on them to keep fresh air moving across the leaves. Other than that, enjoy yourself! You are doing a great job.

cheers ,the roadrunner did have slightly curled leaves i have a small fan going but i had it to close to the light moved it away a bit seems to have helped,have you ever heard of a plant groing down with leaves opend? thanks again

I don't quite understand that question doc, can you explain in a little more detail? Or maybe show me a picture?

i have no pics of it,but i germinated both seeds until they had a root shoot about 1&1/2cm then planted in soil one came up basically the next night but no sign of the ak i waited bout 5 days and still no sign so i removed the soil where the seed should be very carfully,the first thing i seen was the stem in an upsidedown U i moved it thinking i had put the seed in root facing up and it was just finding its way downward, but when i did move it i saw it was the the stem with somthing on the end it was the two round leaves that show first from the seed but they were open wide facing downward and had grown like that past the seed husk and were not green they were nearly white so i lifted the leaf tips up straight and put the soil back round it to hold it, it was over an inch long above the soil when i did that, i know it sounds strange but it is true iv looked on forums to see if it had been heard of but cant find anybody that has.

i have came up with a theory, the leaf head got cought on a piece of wood or somthing like that and the stem kept growing up forming the upsidedown U maybe???
