New Grower Pissed something ate my seedling

I finally got a couple of seeds to germ and were in the seedling stage. Went to check on them yesterday and 2 of them are coming along fair, but one had a leaf nipped off.. I was in a rush yesterday so I didnt have time to investigate so I went back this morning.. 2 of the seedlings still looking fair, but the nipped one is nothing but a STEM now.. Something ate the rest of my leaves and just left me a little stem.. WTF might be doing this to my babies? I am now worried about the other 2 babies getting attacked .. This is an outdoor grow in 3 gallon containers

Kudo is right.They should be a little bigger before you set them out so they can withstand a little abuse.

Slugs, snails, cutters(imitation wasps)...Bastards! Agree with the above advice(not very helpful now, of course!)...but

If it's not some kind of bug then I would say it's a cat. Cats love snacking on plants.

Mice chew the cotyledons off and leave just the stalk.

Marijuana naturally attracts insects to it due to its smell, even as a seedling. It was most probably a insect that act your babies

I lost 9! to mice just a few weeks ago. They got 6 whilst on a plate with tissue before they had sprouted. I started again got them to an inch high in pots and the next day 3 gone! aghhh fucking mice in my house. I now have another 6 looking good but i raised them off the floor on a small table and put glue traps under each leg. That cost me about a £100 in seeds, once bitten twice shy!
