I am not sure of the issues with Fox Farm Ocean Forest. It does me well. But it is made in different places, so that is not saying it can't be an issue.

However, if you started your seed in Ocean Forest, that may be what has it responding in such slow growth. If indeed that is the case, you are actually lucky to get it to grow at all. It has too many nutrients for seeds and sprouts. I put my soil into my pot in layers. Startiing with a soil that has almost no nutrients (seed starter mix), then a intermediate soil and finally finish with an Ocean Forest Mix. As yours grows, it may respond better because it will be using those nutrients.

There is a lot to cover in growing medicine.

The good news, is you have us! :coffee2:

Make sure it is good and firm in the soil, and give it water like you were, if you see any droop, add if it looks dry, or hold off a day or two if it looks wet and is droopy. See if there is a pattern.

Like blue says, get some more going, you will be going through medicine anyway, one plant wont be enough.

If you want you can check out some soil grower's soil recipes in the organic growing secton of the forum. A little research goes a long way.

So, let's see what you can do, get in there, roll yer sleeves up, and get yer grow on, you can do this.

Bye for now
