OK, I am not sure if it's nothing or something I should be concerned about. I have one of three plants the NL which just started showing sex at day 29 looking kinda scraggly last couple days now at day 32, all new leaf formations are thin and twisted, I know I've read something about this somewhere but I searched with no avail. So attached is a pic, if anyone has an idea if it is more than pre flower stretch please advise. Thanks. day32Upper.jpgNlsttringy2.jpgNLstringy.jpg

you have terminal buds forming and that is normal for those top leaves to look like that so I wouldn't worry.

Hey Namvet, thank you for the reply, I was a little concerned since they look so thin and twisted, prob stupid question but what do you mean by terminal buds? If you don't mind checking out the link and letting me know what you think and what I can change I'd appreciate it. Thank you again.

Hi, guess no one has any insight about the stretching or twisting, I've been reading, now mostly on other sites trying to find info about the twisting and no one has any suggestions other than it could be a problem with PH, I adjust the the ph before every watering, however I haven't checked run off, 2 of the three have not shown any signs of anything like the 3rd, so I am not sure whether this is normal pre-flower stretch or a ph issue. Either way..

Hmm I dont know either bro ..Id go with namvet..could just be the strain or it will work itself out...looks like they got a lil heat stress maybe when the temps when up is that when it started?..and you may need some Cal/mag too..I do 1tsp per gallon of Epsom and 1 tsp of molasses per gallon..:smokebuds:

Peace!

High!

Just saw quickly your "check list", 600 w at 14" is too close for now in veg, you have raise them up

and you should be good.

Peace!

Thanks Tokite and DABaracuss

Merry Christmas and or Happy holidays everyone, thanks for the replies.. Ok so I actually raised the light up to 18" about 4 days ago, the plants had been under 14" during the whole veg cycle and then some with no signs of twisting till the NL and only the Nl showed this symptom right as it went into pre-flower, the other two have not shown one sign then or even now, and the NL still continues to show the same symptoms. it is much larger than the other two and does require watering much more obviously, so maybe I've not been putting enough nuts in, I've been using molasses, about a teaspoon per gal, but No cal/mag, although the last two waterings I've used reg tap water instead of RO, with Ph of 6.3-6.5 since I didn't have access to Epsom salt just yet, getting that this Sat. The plant looks healthy for the most part other than the twisting and thinning, and it still has just a few pistols showing at day 38, hmm, the CC and WW although small look really good, frosty and coming along really well, but damn are they small... bastards I think because I started them in the solo cups they got stunted and started to pre-flower earlier than the NL, even though I started all 3 in solos, I transplanted the Nl a week earlier than the other 2. Learning my lessons, although a few people say its the strains that are naturally smaller. The NL is gonna be a beast. Well, thanks for the replies, and happy holidays again. I'll be keeping an update on this situation in my half ass journal.

Hi there. I think it is the strain im not very experienced but my NL and. Only NL (have a WW and blackjack) is doing it. But of you do find it is a problem let me know coz i have it too

I have a grow journal on here if you wanna have a look go through my profile.
