Ive read life cycle of auto, by Muddy, and it was very informative. Also read several other posts and never came across what Im looking for, so any info would help. My question is...How long after the bud hairs turn red or what ever color before the plant starts eating the leaves? From my experience with photos outside, The leaves start to yellow right after 50 percent of hairs have changed or less. The trichomes under microscope are 90% cloudy/milky. None are amber. The leaves are as healthy as they can be. I just cant figure out when my last feeding should be. Any advice or info means alot, so thanks in advance.

The info Muddy posted on An Autos life is as raw as it gets it is exacaly that mate.. As for the % of trich colour some strains dont amber up as much as you would proberly like and when to chop is personal preferance... If your not in a rush then you will know when its ready to start flushing coz the bottom fans WILL yellow up some strains just take alot longer than other to mature :smokebuds:
They have a ways to go.Buds have just started to fill out.

Yeah you could keep feeding her a while longer. By the way, great job:thumbs:she looks great. Those buds are gonna plump up real nice for ya..

looks very nice and yes plenty more time to carry on feeding another few weeks theres plenty og green in the leaves and a lot of fattening of the buds to come :thumbs:

I think the color change of pistols is unreliable as a gauge on when they are finished. Some strains turn a lot sooner than others. I find that once the fan leaves start to yellow, there is about 3 weeks left till harvest. I usually wait a week, then start the final cleanse. Judging from your pictures, I'd say you have another 4 weeks to go.

Thank you to all who answered. This info helps me a lot. Auto is different from my photos and indoor is totally different than my outside grows. I feel like I'm starting over. So much thanks and the mod can delete this now if they need too
