Live Stoner Chat Ppm and ph testers

I've used the HM Digital PH and TDS pen style meters, and both worked great. Until I let the PH meter sit for several month and dry out. Rehydrated it and seemed to work after being re-calibrated, but then switched to soil and haven't done hydropoinics grows in a while so it's probably dried out and dead again now. :smoking:

I used a Bluelab Guardian for a while but didn't like it as much as the pens. If you're just going to run the Guardian probes in a single res, and not move them then it would probably be a much better experience than I had. The PH probes in particular I found to be a bit on the fragile side for being frequently moved. Personal opinion only, YMMV.

bluelab/acurate8 are the 2 big names with a big price to match.you may never need to buy again.dont forget about the cleaning/calibrating fluids,i think they more important than the pen itself.
i got dirt cheap from china,so far they are both working fine 3 years.:pighug:

I have the blue lab truncheon I call my harry potter wand. Self calibrating ppm/tds/ec meter...thing is a beast but comes with like a 3-5 year warranty...I use a checked by Hannah for my PH pen. Works great but blue lab is a little better and I'll b upgrading soon but Hannah instruments is a good mix level company for meters. Affordable and they work until u do a run or two and upgrade
