Hey AFN,

Newbie here in all aspects haha...

Gonna keep this thread plain and simple to try and gain some info and tips for us newbies on what to go for and what to look out for so,

What are your preferred Genetics (seed company), Strain and why?

Dinafem is my favorite breeder. Earlier on I grew a fair bit of their Sour Diesel and always liked the consistency. I seem to gravitate to Dinafem. My seed stock always includes Dinafem. They have a 1:1 cbd/thc Haze that I have been grown lately and really like the mix.

I like World of Seeds Northern Lights x Big Bud. Good price with a larger than average yield, easy to grow high potency buds that taste and smell amazing. It's kind of a diamond in the rough.

Dutch Passion for me...ive grown a dozen of their strains and had stellar pot and monster plants. Their newer line of autos is just amazing!!(daiquiri, ultimate, colorado cookies, sunrise) Havent tried auto orange yet but looking forward to it!!

You can't really go wrong with Mephisto. I am a fan of NIrvana and Dinafem as well. There are quite a few good auto breeders out there with great strain catalogs. I usually look for a journal in here before i go off the beaten path for something new. Besides Mephisto releases strains faster than I can grow them.

Green I bought a daiquiri recently. How is the smoke? Never grown Dutch Passion, but did a little research and this one might help me get me in the one pound club.

Very, very good....I have grown a ton of autos indoors and outdoors now, and a good friend of mine tries every variety for his own ailments(he ia a 50 year chronic toker) and daiquiri was his favorite auto smoke to date. Nice strong uphigh. Great toke from my outdoor daiquiri. Lost a bunch to mold(very humid midsummer), but still pulled 165grams dry.

That is what I like to hear. I am dropping the bean soon. It is indoor so should not have an issue. Besides my house is dry as hell right now might actually need to dig the humidifier out.

506 grams is the weight to beat my friend on the daiquiri!! Second is 379 grams on the daiquiri(teetee is taking both first and second with his monster daiquiris). Good luck bud!! I am sure you will like it!!

Back to the original poster...honestly man...pick a strain, any strains from dutch passion, dinafem, autoflower portal, mephisto, sweet. Awesome genetics all around!!
