Problem child day 40

Hey bro thanks for the tag @Dudeski.
She is mag def imo I would purchase Epsom salts and feed her that way as led's make plants hungry ill also tag @Elvis who in my opinion is another plant wizard
@Bailey
Thanks for the reply. Would I add Epsom salts to my feed? At what ratio? Or would that be a foliar feed or a top dressing? Haven't heard of this.

:toke: --Cano', the sisters are the same strain? And I gather, you're in straight coco... what's your experience level with it? I ask because the overwhelming majority of the time, folks in coco have problems because they keep thinking "soil", even if they know it's technically not,... coco has some unusual CEC properties, most important of which is it's very high binding preference for Ca, and to a lesser degree Mg; until this demand is sated, the coco will hog the Ca/Mg and keep it from the plant roots... (their 2+ charge makes them bind pretty strongly with the particles)... So despite your Ca/Mg inputs, it may not have been enough for both demands.... I see definite Ca defc (smaller rusty-brown spotting), Mg defc. (interveinal chlorosis- "striping"; Zn defc. hits at the newest growth always), and 5th pic down, with broader patches on necrosis looks like P defc.,... N-tox' noted, now past, but during it can interfere with Ca uptake as well.... tip burn says things got a little rich, and with coco, the salt build-up issue is in play because you're feeding or (should be) using Ca-Mg even if just watering; usually though, using coco specific nute's takes care of that, buuuut,... I know it seems ironic, you're at low ppms but getting nute burn! I suspect some build-up, that the flush fixed mostly...coco should be watered to about 15%+ run-off just to keep this build-up from happening, cumulatively over time... Also, pH is a bit low at 5.5, even for coco; I know it helps with Ca availability, but I think the coco is to blame for the Ca defc., just not enough-- *(oh, yeah, LED lights do seem to elevate demand as well, so there's another contributing factor! ...distance is fine, so I think light issues are out),... try pH'ing to 6.0-6.2 instead, up that Ca-Mg dosage, and switch to full bloom nutes (up the P, lower the N)....

@Waira thabks for the response! Wow that's an intense evaluation. The girls are both Dark Devils from sweet seeds. The other one looks astounding, you can see more pics in my journal. This is the only girl that's giving me any trouble. This is basically my first grow and first time using coco as well so I'm just learning.
So by your suggestion I did another really good flush on the girl. I re-fed her working in my bloom nutes and cutting down on my base nutes , and I doubled the dose of calmag to 5ml. Hopefully that's not going to be too much.
I already trimmed out the really bad leaves from under her skirt. I realize now I probably should have left them to see how any improvements were coming. So I guess now we will see what happens, I will update you guys tmmrw.
Oh and here's that :slap: Thank you so much for the help.

I'd be willing to bet if you pH'd your water correctly, your issueS would be no more. 6.3, hydro, soil....anything.

Current rdwc grow, 6.3, 1200 ppm

There's nothing wrong with pulling off the dead affected leafs as the leafs don't repair themselves after treatment. Ure looking out for it not progressing to new growth. I know defeceny ect are a pain but I always try to look at things with a + attitude. If you never got them ud never learn

:smoking:-- each pot becomes it's own ecosystem of sorts, so things can drift in different directions,... oy, your are on the hard side of the learning curve mate! Research coco growing here and on the web; you'll find it to be rather specialized, though when dialed in, it's fantastic... Skip the epsoms for now, and watch for symptom progressions.. it'll take a 2-3 days to halt, Mg symptoms can reverse, but Ca and P won't... I recommend you using an EC or TDS meter to monitor you input ppm's, and the run-off ppm's, which will give you some indication of how much is accumulating in there.. feel free to ask some folks and staff in the coco section about specifics! I'm an outdoor dirt guy, and not a coco grower.. but I'm learning the basics just the same to help out with coco issues...
