Mephisto Genetics Problems With Illuminautos - Diagnose These Guys!

The 2nd pic definitely looks like nute burn to me.and if it's the only thing you've changed,it's gotta be the soil, did you mix it with coco,or layer it under the coco? The plants don't look that old,but there's a chance the roots are in amongst the nutes,as soon as seedlings are up,they start sending roots straight down to the bottom of the pot.
I'd try some more seeds, but just in coco, see if that helps??
Hope you sort it out man :pass:
Unfortunately not man, I layered the coco. Bottom layer is ammended coco with 2 tbs ss, middle layer is ammended coco with 1 tbs, and the top layer is just fresh coco man.

What coco you using? Was it precharged? Was it rinsed well to remove salts?

Just trying to figure out this quagmire.

Surely gotta be nute burn then.looks like your gonna have to pop another cpl of beans man,may aswell pull them, they're not that old,so no harm done, apart from losing a cpl of beans :smoking:

I'll check when I get home, to my knowledge it isn't precharged, I am not sure about it being rinsed however. Thinking maybe I'll pop two per pot, cull the weaker one.

I think the mix maybe too hot. Try using less SS in the top layers. I would do half in half, or 60/40 with 60 being the coco and 40 being the SS. The pH of your water is vital for amended coco as well. You should try using 0 ppm or distilled. You ever try top dressing with supersoil on top of all coco? I did something similar with SS on top of royal gold basement mix and had success. Had to add multiple applications but it worked.

I'm thibking you guys might be right in regards to the soil, which is strange as I've never had an issue before, but being the air pots are taller and therefore closer to the lights, it makes sense.

As for the ph, I rarely ph my water anymore, it's anywhere between 5-7, normally being around 5.5-6 ppm. You think that will make a big difference? And what do you mean top dressing with ss? Meaning mix a small amount in with the top layer of coco?
