PERSONAL THOUGHTS (please be frank,if the vaporiser is poor we want to know):- It is smaller than the original Puffit (which I havew also owned). widest point at the mouth piece (front to back) is 48mm. The shaft is (front to back) 28mm. Across the mouth piece opening 28mm. Height inc battery is 95mm.
Battery type lithium ion recargable.
IT has four heat settings
The Puffit 2 is the exact same size as a real ventolin inhaler.
The plasticy taste of the orginal Puffit has gone as it no longer uses a silicon tube to deliver the vapor (which I think they sorted out, apparently it was due to improperly cured silicon tubing, which they upgraded to a properly cured silicon)
The puffit 2 does not have the same problem as the orginal Puffit of end cap heat up as the the business end of thing is now near the mouth piece.So no more silicon cap for the silver end piece.
Now it is even smaller it is even more stealthy, there is also no looking into the mouth piece to watch an led change colour to tell you when the unit has heated up. Instead it uses "Haptic" feed back, which means it whirs and the vibration tells you when it is heating up (a steady heart beat of short whirs) and when it is ready to vape (two long whirs). This means if you have a loaded Puffit 2, you can press the top down in your pocket and wait until it is heated and just take a vape that looks identical to a real inhaler.
The Puffit 2 is a one vape at a time vaporizer, so you just hold down the top and wait for the heat up and take your vapor inhalation and then do the same 12 seconds after the fist one and so on.
The Puffit 2 has a swapable batery so you can have a several batteries with you to extend your vaping time. Batteries are currently unavailable but will be coming out soon. I managed to get my hands on a spare battery and it was a great boon to me when I was out and about. The battery life per charge last about 65% longer than the original Puffit.
The puffit 2 can be used to vape herbs and concentrates with an additional e-liquid module due to come out in the future.
on the whole you get about 3 good hits per load, maybe 4 mon lower heat settings.
Whilst vaping you get good plumes of tasty vapor, this I really liked and thoroughly enjoyed.
Now the down side, I waited patiently for it to come out here in the UK and bought one as soon as they did. I was very happy when it arrived and couldn't wait to try it out.
When I was charged away I went and I was pleasantly surprised with how good the vapor was and its size.
Then 4 days later it developed a fault, I contacted "VapeFiend" which is where I bought the unit from and I was dispatched a replacement at lightening speed, after talking to Mr Vapefiend himself.Absolutely first class customer support ***** 5 stars.
Unfortunately the replacement has developed the same fault (a sensor error) so will be sent back.
In conclusion this could be an excellent vaporizer if the teething problems are sorted out.
Once the teething problems have been sorted out, I will definitely buy another one but I must be sure it will last longer, my original Puffit lasted a year and a half of daily use before it went up the swany.
