Sorry for this somewhat half-assed grow report. But it's my first grow in my life that can be considered successful. I've always had to abort for some reason or another.
I'm also sorry for ordering Purple Ryder seeds despite the warnings on here that that company had basically ripped off Mossy's strain. I couldn't help myself...I needed those purple buds and they weren't available anywhere else. Well, maybe it's karmic payback, but none of my plants appear to be purple.
Out of ten seeds, six germinated. I divided them into what appeared to be three females and three males, keeping the males in their original pots. It turned out that two of the supposed males were actually females, so eventually I potted them up into a bigger pot, too, and they're a little behind.
They've had a somewhat tough life, living in a box in an attic that I can only access occasionally and at night. Cold temps, hot temps. Soil. CFL security lights, not too high wattage. Because of the colder temps, they've taken a lot longer to mature than others I've seen on here. I've never let them wilt, though. The latest problem is maybe a little nute-burn. They were yellow so I gave them some fertilizer without measuring too carefully and they turned deep green and the leaves curled up a bit.
I'd appreciate it if someone more experienced could weigh in on how much longer I should let these buds go. There are a lot of light popcorn buds down under the canopy, and I don't know if I should do some trimming of fan leaves. I'll try to flush out some of the nutes soon, but it will be difficult given the situation.
