New Grower Question about light cycles

Thanks so much guys. You made me feel better even though I wasn't too worried about them..but the good words help so thanks. I noticed the leaves curling too, i just raised the lights a little bit. Thanks.

So yea, SUPER basic, cheap, noob setup here. I was out of work when i started these, so i didn't have any money to play with. I planted them and before i knew it i had to work with what i had. Here's my set up. Each one is under a CFL, each is 100watt equivalent, and 1600 lumens, 5500k. Seems to be working ok...for now.

See the last 2 pics? all together there are 3 plants. 1 Afghan Kush Ryder, 1 Royal Dwarf, and 1 Quick One from royal queen seeds. They were all sprouted at the same time. I left the Quick One outside, while I had the other 2 in my closet. Went out one morning and the top was ripped off. Don't know how that happened but it's still alive, except what ever is growing out of it now is just balling up. Any chance for this little girl? photo (1).jpgphoto.jpgphoto (2).jpgphoto (3).jpg

Oh, and you said they look a little hungry judging by the color? Hungry for what? I used the flash on my phone when i took the pic so they look a little more lime green in the pics than in real life if that means anything.

I say keep her going til she either dies or better yet takes back off. Never give up!

Yeah, I was referring to their light green, but it's hard to say with the light and the flash. Let the little one grow she might surprise you.
I had just bought all my equipment for my first grow when my employer went bankrupt so I too am on a budget first grow, just a little further along than you. Luckily I already had everything bought and haven't had any emergencies. Grow log is.in my signature.
Keep us updated, I'm kind of curious about that little one.

I'm REALLY interested in the little one! I recently started a thread on topping ( Topping
http://www.autoflower.org/showthread.php?t=24129 ).

Hope everything works out for you! I think in this situation the true power and convenience of auto's is shining through.

Imagine if you had a photo plant!! Trying to find somewhere that is lightproof can be a royal pain in the rear :/

Decided I wanted to share some update pics. My gosh these plants sure change a lot throughout the week. Growing fast! They are about 25 days from sprout, give or take a day or two.

The AKR is looking kind of scrawny compared to the RD. Is that because of the different strains or could poor lighting be a culprit? The RD is getting nice and branchy, while the AKR is just...kinda small. Check it out. Think she'll get bigger before it goes into flowering?

Edit: sorry don't know why the pictures are showing up sideways.. They're saved on my desktop vertically..

1st pic AKR, 2nd RD, 3rd AKR (same plant as the first pic) if you flip back and forth between the 2nd and 3rd pic, you'll see what i'm talking about

Here's the little one. She's about 25 days old, does this mean she'll be flowering in a week? lol
