I'm a complete beginner growing for the first time outdoors in Spain, I decided to try some radical fan leaf defoliation around week 5 of life - I should have been more scientific and left a control plant untouched really, rather than doing all 3. I left 1 NL au naturel, and LST'ed the other 2 - a Jack Cheese and another NL, both from a local breeder. I'm still not sure if it was a good idea (at week 7), I think the main buds might be a bit smaller than my friend's plant from the same seeds...but it's later in the year too. Any thoughts? I know defoliation is more common indoors, but I thought it was worth a try.
