Grow Mediums RDWC water height??

Trying RDWC, and am concerned about water height, in relation to net pot. Is it bad to be 2/3 of the way up, or more?

Hey brother, I sent you a PM. If you need me to clear anything up, let me know. Ideally, you want the water level below the net pots by about 2-3 inches if not more. I explained why in detail in PM.

I'm doing my first dwc and over half way through the grow. I've been keeping 1/4in of my netpot in water. It's worked but i've done more research and been reading "The water level should always be kept just under the net pot." Now i'm a true noob at dwc so dont hold me to that
