Lighting Reflux HID lamps with internal reflector

Now hear this - a neat lamp you may never have heard of, the Reflux.

These HID lamps use an internal reflector and claim a 10% bump in light emission compared to standard reflector design:

The design employs a rotating base that is adjusted prior to screwing the thing in. I believe the process was speculated on by one of the fathers, watt or someone, cant remember where i read it.

People with greenhouse and outdoor grows may appreciate these most. I use one on my balcony, 150W works great for the ficus and myrrh trees that live out there in the summer.

Theyre dead easy to hang but indoors need good airflow/ac to use. On the bright side, no need for a reflector and so very svelte.

They are manufactured in russia, also under license in belarus and i understand china. Cost about $15. Though i bought mine in a local grow shop they can be found on ebay, shipping is $5.
