High all!

Just joined AFN because I'm keen to learn about Auto's and see what they can produce. Also keen on learning from people who grow autos and learn the tricks and methods used that work.

I have been trying to do indoor growing for a few months, but this hasn't worked out very well for me so far. This indoor setup will be developed till it works well for what I need. Currently have 4 x CFL's 85w 6500k inside a 1.8m (w) x 1.8m (h) x 0.6m (d) with a fan blowing from the top. Side covered by cheap emergency mylar material. I have a few full spectrum driverless COB LED's incoming to improve the lighting that will hopefully do a better job.

Living in sunny South Africa has it's advantages, we have very good weather for growing outdoors and our summers are nice and long and sometimes very warm. I have two harvests under my belt outdoors and I find it really simple to get good results outdoor. I will be sticking to that, but would still like to do the indoor DWC thing successfully.

There you have my story. Let the learning begin

Welcome to AFN! I'm sure you will be able to get your environment dialed in soon! There are plenty of people and threads to help with that. If you need help finding your way around or just have general questions, tag me!!

Welcome to the AFN family.:welcome: :pass:
There is no better place to find what you want! Be sure to check out the outdoor section, and the organic neighborhood too if you're in to that.

Welcome, @Sativa-RC :toke::welcome:
Indoor growing has its challenges, just like outdoor. It's just a matter of doing your homework and finding what works best for your space. Good luck, and here's to a great crop! :cheersmate:

Welcome to AFN my friend. Thanks for giving us an interesting Intro. I remember we has a SA member once who grew outdoor plants that rivaled Oak trees. You do have a fine climate for it.

But indoors is a fun challenge and will be a great hobby. Enjoy ! ............eP.

Evening mate and :welcome: to the community!:pass:

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, much appreciated.

Looking forward to learning from you all.

My indoor is a challenge for sure, but I'm sure by our winter it would work right, I'm just having issues with heat at present with a heatwave that's just gone thanks goodness. We had temps in the 37-40 deg C which is around 100+F. So I have hopes for a very good winter grow in that space.

Happy growing
