STRAIN:
Sativa Seeds Jock Horror (multiple hybrid of Northern Lights, Skunk, and Haze, mostly sativa dominant.)
Did It Autoflower?
Yes, preflowers around day 20 or so and continued to autoflower under 18/6 light conditions.
GROWING MEDIUM:
Grown in Pro-MX BX with blood meal, bone meal, and perlite.
NUTES:
General Hydroponics General Organics GO Box. Started off with 1/4 and 1/2 strength doses and increased. Ran a full 10 mL on all nutes towards the middle/end of flowering, she didn’t seem to mind, didn’t have much signs of nute burn in that regard.
LIGHTS:
I started the seedling out under two 125 true watt CFL lights in a small mylar box. Transplanted and grown under 1000W MH/HPS switchable under a 18/6 light cycle
HARVEST TIME:
Harvested 79 days from seed.
DRY YIELD:
5.2 grams dry weight (stunted.)
GROWTH: ????
I stunted her. The first part of my downfall was transplanting it. Then I wasn’t thinking and planted it next to plants that grew very tall, shading it out for a good part of the flowering cycle. It ended up fluffing out like a damn pine cone haha! It seemed to grow pretty well on its own however; I did not tend to it much and it still turned out smokeable. Would love to try it again with some love!
BAG APPEAL: ***
The bud I grew still looks good; but it fluffed out on me. I think that’s more me than the plant; a 2nd grow would confirm.
THE SMELL (after 4 week cure): ****
I’ve never smelled anything quite like this when you pop the jar. It doesn’t smell like weed. If I searched my spice rack and cracked every lid; I think I would find something exactly the same smelling as this herb. It is VERY spicy but also a little misleading. You crumble up a few buds, and the air fills with a fruity aroma. Two very different and very distinct smells. This weed is like a transformer!
THE SMOKE (after 4 week cure): ****
A very subtle fruit taste on the taste buds. The smoke itself is like pure velvet on your lungs. It is a PLEASURE to smoke this stuff in terms of smoothness alone. There is no harshness, no bite, no tickle on the lungs. If it were food, it would be creamy, smooth, and whipped!
MEDICINAL BENEFITS: ?????
This doesn’t seem to be real hard hitting stuff. I feel the effects, but I feel like I could go to work and get a lot of stuff done. I think there is a very strong sativa dominance in this herb. I would like to grow it out again and give it full attention because I really think this could be a really nice strain.
