What was I smoking, when I was 15, in 1986? It may sound goofy, but I'd love to have some of that sticky, wet, and skunky smelling bud from my youth, just for nostalgia. I am guessing maybe some Northern Lights?
I was just a long haired metalhead, spending his allowance, and odd-job earnings to buy a pinched sack from some dude at Hoagie's Corner. It was always a primer-gray '72 Nova, with a clapped out 305 in it, with the biggest cam the dude at Shuck's could order.
That's always the guy that had the buds on a Friday night. Lol
Im old, and baked, but just wondered if any of you guys were growing there/then, and remember what the common strains were in Seattle area, mid to late 80's?
Thanks, Kyle

You're not old bro!!

Feels like it, when I think back over the years. Long hair, a drawer full of concert T-shirts, never a thought about tomorrow...
Now I'm mostly bald, have a drawer full of plain white T-shirts, and hoping I get a few more tomorrow's.

The weed has definitely improved, however, and I am no longer paying for it!
Regards, Kyle

I grew up in the Seattle area in the 80s. It was all skunk. It had quite the smell. I've grown some Sensi Super Skunk, thinking it would smell like the 80s. Not at all. After a very long cure, the skunk smell came out, but not like it did in the 80s. Good times.

Yes! Dark green, sticky as hell, and smelled so skunky, it was ridiculous.
Much better days than now. I go back to my old neighborhood in Kirkland, and hardly recognize it. Of course I have the same problem, when I look in the mirror. Haha!
