New Grower seedling questions

So what is the best light cycle for autos?. I've heard of 18/6.........20/4......and people getting big yields on 24....what's the general consensus here...Do they need dark?

+ Rep :slap:....you got her back up fast :smokebuds:And for the light cycle i run 20/4 unless the breeder state different

Nice come back indeed! Well done man!
I use 18/6 but for no real reason other than that's what I have been using since I started. I may use 20/4 for my next grow. I am only on my first now and don't want to change anything unless I need to!

Auto's work in the range of 18/6 to 24/0 - people have their favourites, just go with what is best for you. I choose to go 18/6 in the summer as mainly an electricity saver, in the winter I have to go 24/0 as my grow box is in the garage and there is no way I can more efficiently keep them as warm as full lights (I would require more watts in heaters). So far I havent noticed any difference in quality from Summer to Winter yeilds. My biggest yeild was on 24/0, but it was nothing to do with light cycle.

So What is the best light cycle for autos? I've read 18/6 is good, others say 20/4 is best and I heard of big yields on 24......Do they need darkness like a photo period?

Well judging from the response, three folks three growers, three different light cycles!
It seems that the best one is the one that works for you!
Sorry it is not a definitive answer, but I think that what it does say is that they all work well enough so you will produce a nice crop regardless of what you choose. I do know this is a much debated subject with adherents to each view.

I plan on doing a detailed grow journal on my candy kush after about a month or so....got to make sure she lives...lol...other wise it would be a short journal..haha
