They look like they can go a bit longer... Mostly clear and cloudy. Wait until they are all cloudy with 30% or so amber.

Here's a little chart to help you decide when is the best time for you. I prefer all cloudy with just a small amount of amber 10-20%.

Thanks, newbie question best way to check the trichomes using a usb scope? Was first time getting decent pics with it

How do you see them so clear ? I have a jewellers eye piece x25 and I struggle to see the colour. Gotta really pay attention. This looks like it makes life a lot easier. What is it you used to see the tris? Cheers

I bought a usb scope off Amazon. Hooks directly to my phone. And cut a small sugar leaf off a bud and set on table to allow easier focus

I use a usb scope attached to my laptop that I take multiple pics from all over and review them. But I've also taken pics with my cell phone Galaxy S9+ to check trichs. Others use jewelers loupes. It's pretty much what works best for you. If you can try to check trichs more on the flowers as sugar leafs tend to mature faster and you'll see them turn cloudy/amber before the buds.
