No im not using calmag as everyone says that tap water should have it in. And im using all biobizz organic nutes. Grow, fishmix, algamic and then will be using bloom.im not ph'ing the water this time as i saw alot or experienced growers saying they never ph water when using organic biobizz nutes and soil as the soil will sort it all out and adding ph chemicals is not good? Are you using cal/mag?Are you ph'ng your water? What nutes are you using?
Oh and i added some worm castings to the soil mixAre you using cal/mag?Are you ph'ng your water? What nutes are you using?
I can't say I am on-board with anyone who advises that a pH meter is not one of the single most important tools in your toolbox. A close second is a PPM/EC meter. At the very least, you want to know exactly what you are pouring into your medium. No im not using calmag as everyone says that tap water should have it in. And im using all biobizz organic nutes. Thanks for the help ive just ordered some calmag1st & 3rd pic looks a lot like insect bites. I had the same. Won't affect anything though. Just keep a lookout for those buggers
2nd pic looks like minor tip burn. If no progress and just on a few leaves, nothing to worry about. If they remain lime green pale, consider adding cal/mag
I got all the above from reading AFN plus my own experience. Anyone pls feel free to correct me!

Yeah i do own one but i know what my water is its 7.1 ive checked it many times.but biobizz themselves say not to ph water if its between 7 and 7.3 i think. See the pics here one is from a chat and other is questions being answered from biobizz.ph is much more important in hydro as soil will sort the ph itself (apparently)I can't say I am on-board with anyone who advises that a pH meter is not one of the single most important tools in your toolbox. Im pretty sure i need to re calibrate my ph meter though as my water always measured 7.1 like 100 times then when checking to be sure like u say it was 7.6 so i assumed it was off by .5 then i checked a fresh bottle of spring water i just got and it said on the side its ph was 7.4 and when i checked it said 7.9 which definitely makes me think its off by .5I can't say I am on-board with anyone who advises that a pH meter is not one of the single most important tools in your toolbox. I'm a DWC grower, so maybe pH is a bit more stable in soil/coco. Been my experience that pH can go off for a number of reasons, so I monitor it regularly.Im pretty sure i need to re calibrate my ph meter though as my water always measured 7.1 like 100 times then when checking to be sure like u say it was 7.6 so i assumed it was off by .5 then i checked a fresh bottle of spring water i just got and it said on the side its ph was 7.4 and when i checked it said 7.9 which definitely makes me think its off by .5
I wana invest in a good set of meters like hydrogardens set View attachment 891703
There 50 pound each or 70 for set though.mine where like 2 pound off ebay lol so i imagine there will be a big difference in accuracy.i just thought this grow i will try and see if theyre right about not touching the ph.
