I started making up my next pot of soil for my next grow and didn't realize until I had mixed in some nutes that I didn't have enough dirt. Using Pro-Mix Hp Reach. I can get more of the same soil in a day or two but I did have some ph issues at the beginning of my last grow which may have been because of this soil. But I hadn't tested it which I was going to do when I had my pot(s) ready. I do have a bag of year old FoxFarm Ocean Forest that I could finish filling it up with but as a newb I'm worried due to some things I've seen about FFFFFoxFarm soil so not sure what to do. Got a seed going and a pot half full, lol. Any/ all help is appreciated.

Thanks all :)

This is the best promix that I've tried. It need to have about 20% perlite added to it.

You may also want to water with a wetting agent, it's bone dry.

Thanks, I appreciate your response. Yeah, I went ahead and got another bag of HP Ready. It's what I know and went with it. I'll add some Dynomyco and grow dots and top dress some recharge until 1st water and hopefully all will be good :).

Thanks again.

Its not a bad thing but if both are amended or 1 is coco and the other is peat/soil based if its close to a 50/50 mix then it gets treated like 100% coco. Other than that you just gotta adjust when you start feeding. Some soils only habe a month of food, some have 6 months worth. Id stay away from anything that has ferts that last that long because it could. negatively effect flowering.
