Problem: slight yellowing of serrated edges, small amounts of yellow spotting on leaves.

Medium/grow method: Westland multipurpose compost with added John Innes/perlite 20%

Feed: and supplements used: To date only a very light amount of seaweed extract has been given. (Only once so far)

water source:Dechlorinated tap water.

Strain/age:FastBuds BlackBerry Auto currently 24 days old

light used: Meizhi 300w reflector series

Climate: temps fluctuating between 22c and 28c. Humidity 60

Additional info:
Im still following a wet/dry cycle currently watering about 1litre every 3 or 4 days. The meizhi lighting has now been switched onto full power (veg & bloom) at a distance of 16”. Temps have been quite consistent and tend to stay between 22c - 28c regardless of lights on or off.

She still seems to be growing fine but I am aware of an issue and would appreciate any feedback from some of you more experienced growers.

I’ve noticed a small amount of small yellow/brown spots on some of the leaves along with slight yellowing/browning along the serrated edges of the leaves.

I can’t see any pests but I’ve not ruled that out as they can be so tiny and sneaky!

I know, I know, the symptoms look very slight but better to catch it now.......

Those yellow dots looks like my thrips attack. I used, nematodes and organic spray suffocant to clear it. I also removed my plants and cleaned my space. My girls were bigger so also removed some leaves. All imo

Sent from my comfy chair.

..start feeding now, dilute dosing... what do you have, and what are the NPK#'s? that will determine how much, if at all, to dilute,.... symptoms are too mild and indistinct to call yet, might not be nutritional either,.. but given what you posted, it's past time to start feeds... no basic soil like that has a complete coverage of nutrients,....

I hope this information helps!
I also noticed a couple of very tiny white dots that almost look like dandruff. They don’t appear to be moving so I’m unsure if it’s some kind of pest.
I must also say that my water is soft and has no calcium in it whatsoever.
Another thing to consider is that it seemed to start on the lowest leaves first roughly 10 days ago with the very slight symptoms starting to appear further up the plant as time progressed.
See below for her dandruff.

Looks like the beginnings of a Cal def. to me. Are you using Calmag?
Thankyou for the reply. You may be onto something. My dechlorinated tap water has zero calcium content and is soft. I’m not currently using calmag. Also see my answer above for more info.

@Waira I’m waiting for my girl to dry out before I try feeding as you suggested. Any input on what/which products I should use from what I’ve got?
Many Thanks, BWM

Okay, quick update. Tonight I realised I got bad advice on my fan placement. I’m pretty certain what we see is wind scorch. I’ve repositioned the fan now so that should help.
My lady has gone into flower so I’ll be looking at feeding her something to help her give me some frosty nugs of joy!
Thanks for all your help people I much appreciate it.
Kind Regards, BWM
